Workplace favoritism occurs when a manager gives better treatment to a person or group of people based on who the manager likes or who the manager perceives to be most similar to him rather than based on qualifications.
Workplace favoritism can have a negative impact on companies. It can lead companies to lose money due to loss of trust, employee disengagement, turnover, lawsuits, and decreased productivity. In this training session, people managers learn the negative effects of workplace favoritism, how to recognize it in their own actions, and ways to prevent workplace favoritism and the perception of workplace favoritism.
This session will be helpful to all managers, even those not displaying workplace favoritism behaviors. One-on-one sessions are also available.
